About Me:  I am a graphic designer who enjoys spending time with my family and volunteering. I've been in the design industry for over 20 years. I've loved writing and arts & crafts for as long as I can remember. Imani's Cards are the result of my creative gifts. "Imani" means "faith" in Swahili. Opening this storefront is my attempt to show faith in action. Some of my cards are very personal and are ones that I make for my family and friends. Hopefully, my cards will enable others to express their feeling of love, joy, hope, encouragement and sometimes even - disappointment. I have faith that my cards will serve as a means to minister to others. I especially enjoy expressing myself in abstract pieces. In addition, Imani's Cards is an opportunity for me to explore my african american heritage through my art. I hope that anyone who visits Imani's Cards will be blessed in someway. My dream is to someday open a small studio - painting and taking photos at my leisure while helping others by conducting creative workshops and exploring expressive art therapy.
