Juergen Weiss
At the age of 25 years Juergen Weiss discovered the passion to travel, in order to become acquainted with stranger countries, people and cultures.
After journeys on the African Continent, the Seychelles, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, he continued to go further to the East. Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and also Hongkong were his goals.
In the mid 90`s, Juergen fulfilled his dream finally, when he traveled for a backpack - route to South America. And only one year later, he crossed Central America, from Mexico City to
Panama City.
After some Spain and Portugal-Journeys and after two Greenland Cruiseships, he traveled several times into the North American Continent, and also to Alaska, where Juergen was already seven times. The winter 2005 he spent again in Yukon and Alaska, with the Redington`s, on their Iditarod-Team.
In May Juergen flew for a couple of weeks to Japan and came back again to Canada to continued his journey on the beautiful Eastcoast, in Quebec ...
... What a Wonderful World !!!

Hello. My name is Helen Winter. I have been involved in art since early childhood. As long as I can remember, I've had a pencil in my hand. I studied and earned a Classic Art Education and a Degree as an Architect... I was too busy to be a full time student and a full time mom at the same time that I never worked as an Architect. Instead, I worked as a sculpture teacher for a four years until I started my career in desktop publishing, but my old passion for pencil drawing hasn't gone away. Working at school and raising my girls I was fully involved in a kids world and because of that I started to draw pictures for kids with cute little creatures.

Ramona Hartley is a retired dance teacher and established artist now living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. She has spent the majority of her adult life either working at her own art or sharing her creative skills with others.
Ramona was very fortunate early in her career to have the benefit of some extraordinary mentors. While working at Fernie Alpine Ski Resort, she met renowned Canadian Artist Jack Lee McLean. Mistaking him for the hotel handy man while he was hanging his prints, they struck up a conversation. For the remainder of the season Jack generously offered his guidance and encouragement to the young artist. Several years later, she met Linda Cameron a wonderful teacher and representative of Daniel Smith Watercolors. Linda was a major influence, teaching her the technical approaches she now applies to her many works.
The essence of Ramona’s work is rooted in her love of movement and nature. As an intensely shy youth, dance gave her a medium in which to express herself that has carried through to her fine art pieces. Color, movement and nature are themes quite commonly seen in her work.
“My artwork reflects the intensity of movement and color in the natural world. When I see the energy in the stillness of a pond, the effect of a breeze on a single blade of grass or the calm dripping beneath trees after a strong rain; this is what I want to grab hold of.”
