You've probably seen the French black cat poster by Théophile Steinlen, but you've never seen it like this! Steinlen's famous "Chat Noir" has been transformed into a tiger for 2034, the Chinese New Year of the Tiger. This clever rendition of a well-loved image wishes the recipient a Happy Chinese New Year in French for the "Anne'e du Tigre," the Year of the Tiger. The red and yellow colors in Steinlen's original poster have been brightened and a border is added in a rich red. The text on this New Year's poster has attempted to emulate the fun and funky spirit of the original text (Tournée du Chat Noir de Rodolphe Salis.) This spunky Tiger is truly "magnifique" and he knows it.
