In all the world, you'll not see another Chinese New Year of the Rooster card like this one. A blue rooster, inspired by an art scroll of the Edo Period by Ito Jakuchu is bordered by colorful "obi" fabric hand-woven prior to the 1880s. The beautiful brocade textile features peonies, chrysanthemums, and a cloud motif. Intended for an obi, the fabric had not been seen since WW2 until it was recently discovered in an attic. It makes a vibrant border for this Chinese New Year card in the Year of the Rooster.
