About Me: Hi, I'm Steppeland, pseudonym for Lutgarde De Brouwer. Born in Flanders, Belgium, 1958. I am now since many years living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I'm a self taught, free lance, female photographer, and I love to make card designs based mainly on my own work. My work also can also be seen at : DeviantArt , Redbubble , Zazzle , Flickr and several other sites.
My Interests: I've always been fascinated in the beauty of nature and people, and try to capture something of that in my images. Photography is my passion, and I love showing my work and making it useful to others. My main fields of interest are Nature Photography and Social photography (Street photography, Photojournalism, and social documentary) - but actually, I'm photographing everything that draws my attention, or can be useful in my designs. I love making custom requests, so if you would like me to adapt a design for you, or add a different language, please do let me know!

July 28, 2013 too : Announcing the official Opening of my GCU store on August 23, 2013, exactly 3 months after approval of my first card, and starting a free 'Testimonial Raffle' with up to 5 of my fully customized cards as prises : 1 card for every 50 testimonials received by August 23, 2013! July 28, 2013 : Another kind steppingstone: This morning I noticed that overnight, I reached over 1000 card clicks ( to be true, webcrawlers are included in this number LOL) , but it does give some indication of the exposure my cards get...
July 25, 2013 : First of my cards in the long track queue were reviewed and approved! Since I've been uploading 2-3 cards every day, as from now, there will be a few cards reviewed, corrected and added to my store every day too!
July 23, 2013 : One month later again, I was happy to see 30 of my cards approved and available for sale, and 108 more cards uploaded. By now, the process had slowed down due to the long review times, but now I was counting only hours till the reviewers, probably within a few days, would reach the first of my cards in the long waiting queue.
June 23, 2013 : Exactly 1 month after approval ov my 1st card I had 22 cards approved and 46 pending. I was able to make such a great start thanks to the great support and coaching I received from GCU reviewers and staff, and the friendly encouragement of co-artists on the forum.
June 5, 2013 : First online sale of my "Walk safely first steps, little girl - Happy Father's day to Son" card. Thanks to this first customer from Indiana-US, and the 3 more customers from California, Arizona and New York who bought one of my cards in the first weeks of my adventure at GCU... These were really encouraging sales, that kept me going! :D

First two cards approved: "Sunflower Moving Announcement card" - a card requested by a GCU customer, and "Purple Harmony - Thinking of your card" - a collage of 2 purple flowers. both cards are now available as a series of cards for various occasions.
