About Me:   I was born in El Paso TX. the town by the Rio Grande. I have spent most of my life growing up in Texas although most people I talk to put me somewhere in the northwest part of the country. I have lived a very colorful life and also in parallel of that were some stark black and white moments over the years.My parents were as opposite as can be: Mom a full blown card caring Hippie, love child Mother Nature in all her glory. Dad military raised discipline and organized proverbial work alcoholic. (got to stay ahead of the game kinda fellas). I knew at a very early age that creativity was my talent. Whether it was drama, writing,drawing, painting. I found that writing and painting were my achilles heal.I was always the kid who went her own way, understanding and realizing that I had logical design in half of me and a dark rich fantasy that occupies the other half. I have always found myself and my life being in a constant state of pulling among the polarities in all things.Black and White and all the colors inbetween. So I have both of my parents worlds and the clashing of my little realm of my world finding the right balance for my life keeps me in constant check.The decor artistry came many years ago as a single mom. I found that I could not decorate my kids room as their peers were,but I knew I could drawand was very creative on a dime basis. So, I started the murals and theme rooms I created the most with the least and it has been that way ever since..This lead to word of mouth and pretty soon I was doing small decor and it just took hold. There is a slipstream a quiet and blissful place that resides among the dualities in this world and relative to my world my eternal objective is to be in that place, the closest I can get to it seems so far to in my art..It also reminds that duality and harmony and balance are the grounding factors that I abide to in my Life. The logic and fantasy factors give me subjects and creations for my art and writings. They allow me to pose issues and perhaps ask questions that some would never think to ask.There is a natural flow to this world, I try to remember that. Decor & Artistry is based on my life experiences with a heavy emphasis on budgets and beauty, challenge me with the problem and see the result. I take what I need and leave the rest for surely someone else will happen by and they to might need. I find that my art flows with the world or at least the way I interpret it as it is happening.
