About Me:  Maine artist Kimberly Bolton changed the idea of fine art by developing a whimsical style of painting and drawing to create two dimensional art pieces. Internally driven, Kim%u2019s original art and mixed media paintings have been described as "whimsical beauties.%u201D %u200B Resonating with families and children alike, Kim%u2019s use of watercolor and ink create fun and unique art for the whole family to enjoy. In the past few years her art has included more mediums such as acrylic paintings, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and Alcohol ink. Kim%u2019s art is inspired by her life as a high school teacher. Students as well as the world around her has given lots of ideas for her art. Kim%u2019s original paintings and mixed media pieces have been shown in Hallowell, Bucksport, Belfast, Camden, Bangor, Bar Harbor and Massachusetts.
