About Me:  I've been a freelance gag cartoonist for twenty some odd years, producing cartoons for a variety of national and regional publications. I've also produced a weekly golf cartoon ARNIE DIVOT for the NBC Sports golf website, golf.com. For five years, I drew a thrice weekly editorial cartoon on local issues for the hometown newspaper, The Niagara Gazette, which took up most of my cartooning time. Since budget constraints eliminated my space in the newspaper, I'm back to freelancing to magazines and websites. I've been a member of The National Cartoonists Society since 1996 and a member of the Upstate New York Chapter of the NCS since 1996 as well, serving as treasurer since 1998. I received my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts/Fine Arts in 1974 from Niagara County Community College. I returned to school in 2000, graduating in December with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Buffalo State College, where I was selected for membership in the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society.
