About Me: "My degree training is in the photographic field, holding the classification of Master Class Photographer. I've worked in this field as freelance, gallery owner, mentor and educator for nearly 30-years. My mind and heart however; love to experiment with new mediums, styles and methods which often take me to places that are no longer linked to photography."
The artist lives in the beautiful Sierra Foothills of California, also known as Gold Country with her husband and adopted family of furry companions.
The artist has received over fifty awards for her art and photography, including being the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Art and Science of Photography. She has collectors world-wide and throughout the United States.
My Interests: I love animals and enjoy the bit of volunteering I do both for my local animal shelter and wildlife rehabilitation center. My husband created and maintains the Paws Partners website while I design artwork and run the Zazzle store to benefit all four non-profit, animal rescue organizations in our community.
I'm happiest in the mountains or near the ocean, not a city girl at heart, though I was raised in a big city. I enjoy making huge batches of soups in the fall and winter, baking dog cookies, movie night with my husband of 36-years, motorcycles and riding around with the top down in our BRG Miata Roadster.
I write for the GCU Community Blog. I enjoy movies, reading, and growing our own vegetables, but my passion lies with my family, my camera and creating art.
