Artist Notes:
This card is intended as a congratulations card for a Jewish wedding. The seven blessings are customarily recited by the rabbi or officiant at the wedding ceremony when the bride walks around the groom seven times to signify the seventh day of the creation of the world and God's subsequent bond to humanity. The wine (kiddush) cup and grapevine border represent a fruitful marriage. The cup is traditionally broken by the groom to seal the covenant at the conclusion of the ceremony. Mazal Tov in Hebrew means 'good stars' or good luck to the bride and groom who are symbolized by the doves. The ring is based on an historical communal wedding ring that was used only for the wedding ceremony in towns where the couple could not afford to buy a ring. It was later replaced by a simple metal band.

Eye-catching and inspiring. Even in Israel, haven't seen an item like this.
