About Me:   Learning to paint changed forever the way in which I look at the world. The joys of new experience and friendship enhance my appreciation of the unfolding of life's mystery, and thus, inspire my artistic interpretations. Over the past several years I have experimented with different media, but still prefer watercolor because of the freedom and fun of the unexpected results. I love painting: it provides a calm break from the busy life of raising a family, and there is great satisfaction in creating new artworks. An inspiration to me is the contrast between the clear, dry climate of Colorado, and the soft, misty landscapes of my native Wales . The complexity of shadows, changing light and color tones, textures and nuances of mood, and compositional elements are fascinating to me, as elements of the world of art.
