Inside Text:
World Naked Gardening Day was
created to encourage gardeners
to seek a stronger bond with nature
by tending their gardens in the buff,
just as nature intended.

Talking to your plants is said
to help them grow faster.
Strengthen your bond in the buff today
by chatting with your plants using phrases like:

Hey bud, I'm rooting for you!

I'll never leaf you.

Don't stop be-leafing!

Oh-oh, the neighbors can see me naked
and they don't look happy so,
hosta la vista, baby!

Happy World Naked Gardening Day

Artist Notes:
Don’t be surprised if you’ve never heard of World Naked Gardening Day. Most of the world hasn’t either, but alas, it is apparently celebrated every year around the world on the first Saturday in May. This delightfully daffy day was created in 2005 by an editor of a nudist magazine and a guy who believes we should all live in harmony with nature. Send this one-of-a-kind, keepsake card to the gardener(s) in your world. It may not encourage them to celebrate this wacky day, but it will surely make them smile. The front of this comical card displays a naked man with a mustache wearing a yellow sun hat and purple gardening gloves, standing in front of a green shrub. He is watering yellow and white sunflowers with a red watering can while talking to the flowers.
