An photograph of a glass of green absinthe which has a special absinthe spoon across it and sugar cubes on top of that. The words 'Happy National Absinthe Day' accompany the image. To drink absinthe, a sugar cube is placed on the perforated spoon, then pure, ice cold water is gradually dripped over the sugar cube which causes the sugar to slowly melt.Traditional absinthe can be distinguished by the fact that it "louches" (clouds) when you add the water.
