Their plight being their population continues to decrease, the public often views them as a source of disease and finds their natural behavior to be harmful to the environment which makes it a continuing uphill battle to educate the public of their usefulness to the environment, beavers help in restoring wetlands and help to cleanse the waters, their dams are useful in preventing floods and droughts, but as far as this little guy goes, he is only concerned about looking good on his special day!
