Following the great flood in the story of Noah’s Ark, Noah releases a white dove to find fertile land. Doves consume water in an unusual fashion. Instead of sipping it through their bill and swallowing it, they suck the fluid up by immersing their bills in the water and keeping their heads down. They use this unique technique to consume all the fluids they need for the day in about 20 seconds or less.
