Artist Notes:
The earliest mention of white dove releases dates back to Ancient Egypt—roughly 5,000 years ago. They’ve also been used in European, Chinese, Greek, and Roman cultures as part of important milestones, life events, and celebrations. In Ancient Greece and Rome, they were considered symbols of the gods, while Chinese cultures believed they would protect citizens from evil spirits. A beautiful golden cross trimmed in red with a red cloth draped over it with beautiful white doves on an elegant background with snowflakes and stars makes for a lovely, religious card for your wonderful grandson and his wife.
