What is FedEx Office® pickup?

Instead of having your cards mailed to you or directly to someone else, you can order your cards online, select a FedEx Office location of your choice and your cards will be printed for you to pickup at that location, usually within 24 hours. This is available during FedEx Office hours for that particular location only. Only one shipping location and delivery option can be selected per order. Orders with less than 5 cards or exceeding 99 cards are not eligible for FedEx Office pickup. Promotions and card credits cannot be applied to FedEx Office pickup orders.

What is the delivery time?

Orders are usually ready in 24 hours, and in many cases within a few hours. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. You can also call your FedEx Office location for a completion time estimate.

What FedEx Office® locations are available to me for order pickup?

How will I know when my cards are ready?

Once the cards have been printed at your local FedEx Office® of choice, you will receive an email notifying you that your order is ready to be picked up. You can also check the Order History link from your order confirmation email, or by logging into your account and going to the Order History page.

Is the price of the cards the same for all delivery options?

Yes, the price of the cards is the same regardless of your chosen delivery option, however you cannot use any promotions or coupon codes. See below.

Why can't I use any promotions or coupons for FedEx Office® orders?

The cost of FedEx Office printing differs from our main print facilities. Unfortunately we're not able to extend any further discounts.

How do I pay for the cards when I choose FedEx Office® pickup?

Like usual, you pay for your order on the GreetingCardUniverse.com website.

How are returns handled?

If there are any issues with the quality of the print, card or envelope, please go back to the same location and ask for a reprint of your cards. All other returns are handled by Greeting Card Universe. The best option is to send an email to support@greetingcarduniverse.com. You will usually get a response by the next business day. You can also call 877-347-6784 Mon-Fri from 9AM-5PM PST.

Are there any additional fees involved?

There are no additional fees for this added convenience.

Is the card quality the same between mailing directly from Greeting Card Universe and FedEx Office pickup?

The card quality for orders fulfilled by FedEx Office is excellent, although there is a minor difference in paper weight. The card stock used for FedEx Office pickup is the same thickness as an index card at 100 lb. The card stock used when mailed to you directly from Greeting Card Universe is a heavier card stock at 111 lb, similar to cards you buy at local card stores. Also, cards printed by FedEx Office are only available with a semi-glossy finish while cards directly from Greeting Card Universe offer either a matte or a glossy finish.

Will I still be able to use all customization and personalization features like adding pictures?

Absolutely. There are no changes or compromises to our robust card selection and options. You can even still work with artists to create that customized, special greeting card.

Do the cards come with blank envelopes?

Yes. One blank envelope per card ordered is included in the price. Envelopes do not have any addressing or other writing on them. Please make sure all your blank envelopes are included during pickup.
