Folded 5" x 7" greeting card

This 36th birthday card for a granddaughter was inspired by the French way of finding beauty in everyday rituals. Whether it's choosing a handcrafted gâteau from a neighbourhood pâtisserie, lingering over coffee in a bustling café, or taking home a beautifully wrapped box of sweet treats, I was captivated by the sense of occasion given to life's simple pleasures. Those memories inspired this whimsical watercolour illustration, where loose sketches, delicate details, and joyful colours come together to celebrate the art of living well. I hope this design captures that spirit of warmth, happiness, and effortless French charm, making it a delightful keepsake for a granddaughter's special birthday.
