About Me: My name is Margaret Gregson. I am an artist based in Lancashire, England. I was born in 1956 in the small seaside town of St. Annes-on-Sea and have lived in Lancashire all my life. I am married and have four grown up children. I have developed my own artistic style over many years after studying art at college in the 1970s. While I have drawn inspiration from artists that I admire, including Cam, Michael Hague and Arthur Rackham, my main source of inspiration continues to be my own imagination.
My Interests: I have an absolute passion for my work and find it difficult to describe the wonderful sense of achievement that I get from producing a finished piece of work. I am a perfectionist, and can spend many hours working on a fine detail until I am satisfied that I have got it right. I have always worked with pencils, pastels, ink and watercolours, and have recently begun to use digital media, which I believe has added another dimension to my work.
