About Me: My name is Paulo. I'm a strong believer in celebrating Yin-Yang, the opposing forces in life.
As a psychologist, I became interested in helping people communicate about cancer, associated diseases, trauma, recovery, and renewal.
Often growing apart from relatives and friends, cancer patients feel scared and afraid. Not only are they going through pain and uncertainty, they feel alone and isolated.
Filling the niche between sympathy and get well,
my card line 'Opens the Doors' between people facing diseases with those who want to help, but don't know where to begin.
My Interests: My interests are many and varied. Enjoying mysteries and 'Jack Reacher' thrillers, I have taken up reading on an e-reader.
I like to express myself through photography and writing. My passion is helping others through warm, understanding words that are best delivered through paper greeting cards.
Thank you for visiting and come back soon.
» Ready to send to pediatric patients at Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA, I'm proud to offer very special greeting cards developed by a second grade classroom at Los Primeros Structured School in the Pleasant Valley School District, Camarillo, California. These cards are highlighted in my exclusive 'Private Gallery', a link to which is found just below this bulletin. For detailed instructions on sending these cards, please follow the 'artist notes' displayed under the card, or cards you select. Known as 'To Kids From Kids', this project may grow in the months to come. Available through the remainder of 2012, part of the proceeds will be donated to Mattel Children's Hospital at UCLA. Paulo
Thank you for visiting Paulo's Card Store. Shopping here is very user friendly. Cards are arranged by category, so you can easily find those best suited for your needs. With card offerings for cancer patients, as well as people wrestling with a host of other conditions, I fill the niche between ‘get well’ and ‘sympathy’. You can find contemporary holiday and special occasion cards here as well. From time to time, check the 'Bulletin' and 'Private Gallery' to read about my projects, and see the cards designed for special occasions that don't appear in my general collection. Please make yourself at home. I’m glad you stopped by.
I love your cards. They are touching and heartwarming. Frequently, it is so difficult to find just the right words for those that are facing life threatening illnesses. Your cards capture just the right tone and words. Thank you for your sensitivity. The children's cards are wonderful too. They are happy, uplifting, and make me smile just looking at them. Please continue to create beautiful, thought-provoking cards!
