» The flower for the month of March is the Jonquil or Daffodil. The photograph on my March birthday card is especially meaningful to me. I took a close-up of the faces of two daffodils in a vase on my windowsill. The sun is lighting them up, and they are slightly turned toward each other, as though sharing some intimacy. I sent this picture to my birth mother, that is, the mother who gave birth to me, but not the mother who raised me. She liked the picture so much that she decided to paint a watercolor of the same image, which she sent to me. Now I am offering both the photograph and the watercolor as the March birthday card.
