About Me: My name is Linda Jackson and I have been publishing my gridded knitting designs since 1990 under the name of Artika Designs (www.artika.co.uk). I am particularly interested in stylized, geometric abstract and semi-abstract repeating designs which are easy to knit by hand and machine knitters and can be stitched onto canvas by embroiderers.

As a lover of textiles, I always seek out stationery - calendars, cards, etc. which depict interesting textile designs. So I thought I would produce some myself, using my own designs!
