About Me:  Kat Solinsky is an American artist who began exploring her artistic interest at a young age. During the expanse of her career, she has developed a unique talent for expressing her inspirations. While Kat states that she prefers to work her art primarily through oils or watercolors, occasionally she finds that some subjects come to life more fully with the use of mixed mediums. Kat states, "Each medium provides its own unique temperament and expression that in the end, render a very unique feel and portrayal of each subject matter." Admirers of Kat's work often share the common realization of becoming intrigued by her style, as she uses distinct depth of color, along with the integration of movement, texture and light, so as to bring each of her subjects alive through a rather two-and-a-half dimensional perspective.
