About Me:  Since moving from Minnesota, where everything goes dormant for 6 months out of the year, to Texas and Florida, where almost nothing does, change has become a common word in my vocabulary. Straying from my roots geographically, and surviving it, encouraged me to take a chance creatively as well. From the structure and conditions of traditional graphic design and commercial illustration, I embraced the free spirit of fine art through digital photography. I chose nature as a central theme and have crafted distinctive portraits of florals, creatures, plants, and wilds that I call the "PhotoArt Collection". It speaks to my awe of nature and its limitless variety, my love of color, texture and balance and the incomparable freedom of taking a work of art from conception to its final form without restriction.
