About Me:  My name is Ben Vess. I am an experimentalist, more or less. Any sustained labeling of my creative persona as painter, photographer, teacher, graphic designer, artist, or even experimentalist may destroy my creative process. Then again, they may not. For those who just found out about me or just have seen me from the periphery, this is me: Intensely creative, oftentimes aloof, sometimes charismatic; but, always difficult. And these are my mediums: photography, acrylic, newspaper, sharpies, pencils, charcoal, pens, pastels, sand, foils, and, of course, water.
