About Me:  Lyda Craig was born on April 22, 1962 in Benson Arizona. She graduated Antioch College in Ohio and received a Masters in Biology from Rutgers University in Camden New Jersey. She worked as a field biologist for the New York State Museum in Albany New York, the US Fish & Wildlife Service in New Jersey, and the New Jersey Pinelands Commission. After a successful career as a biologist, she decided to pursue her passion for making art and went back to Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts in New Brunswick, New Jersey where she received her BFA with honors. She married in May 1992 and had a baby boy in January 1999. She passed away on May 13, 2002. This card store is dedicated to her memory and all cards are produced using Lyda's original artwork. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of her cards are donated to the Rutgers University Foundation - Lyda J Craig Endowed Fund.
