Maybe it's me, but when I categorize by key word, no matter what I do, I only get 10 cards in a category
Ex: Easter - I have loads of Easter cards, but only 10 show up. When I try to add via product IDs, I end up with only one card in the category, not more.
This is something I want to do, but I just can't seem to make it happen.

I haven't had the time to try this yet, but I think I remember Mindy stating in an early post on this thread that only 10 will show up on your storefront, so maybe that's what you are seeing?  Can you see all the cards in that sub-gallery if you go to Manage Galleries or Manage Cards wherever that might be?

You know - I didn't have time to hunt around that much. I tried it, saw 10, tried to hand add to PIDs and got a worse result, so I just eliminated the subcategory and moved on to other things I need to do today.
Honestly, I really don't have time to be tweaking around and McGyvering the thing for 2 hours. I have to get my other work done. If that's what it takes, it's not convenient or helpful.
Sorry to sound crabby, but this isn't my only commitment.

OK, but what about more than 10 cards in a category? All of these have 7 or less.
What's the scoop - like i said, I only saw 10 in mine.

I would like to pass along my findings on this new module.

*6 subgalleries created - 2 pages
* Clicked on All Cards link. This took me to the first page of the primary gallery. Clicked on Page 2 of the footer navigation (primary gallery) and this link took me to the 2nd page of the subgalleries. Seems that the links of the footer navigation is the same for both even though the number of pages is correct.

At this moment there is no way for browsing the primary gallery with the sub-galleries activated.

Susan - I just created two test galleries so I could answer your question (I deleted them, once I got my answer however).  As Doreen stated, we learned earlier from Mindy that 10 cards in the gallery will show in the store front.  To the left of the sub-gallery header, along with the gallery name, it says "10 Cards".  I think it needs to be tweaked to say "10 of XXX cards in this sub-gallery" or something along those lines.  It leads all of us (so far) to think there are ONLY 10 cards in that sub-gal.  Look in that same header bar TO THE RIGHT - and you'll see a link that says "SEE MORE".  I think this needs a better re-design, myself, along with the need to allow a custom sort of sub-gals.

Sun-At-Night - I know we can't see cards in our main store when sub-galleries are activated but I haven't played around with the searching, clicking, etc.  Sounds like some good feedback from you!

* UPDATE *
In the next 24 hours you will find the following changes:

In the Search My Store module in Sub-Gallery mode shoppers will:
a. have the option to click >> all cards to see the traditional product gallery of ALL of your cards
b. see in Search My Store a list of sub-gallery names of which to choose from

In the Search My Store module when in traditional Product Gallery mode shoppers will:
a. have the option to click >> home to see the new sub-galleries
b. see in Search My Store a list of categories as usual

Essentially this allows the shopper to toggle back and forth between your traditional Product Gallery set up and your Sub-Gallery set up.

We've added a card count to each sub-gallery title bar and a total card count to the >> all cards link.

We've also fix a few pesky bugs that were preventing more that 10 cards in a module to be seen via the "see more" as well as some other nuisances.

At this time we will not be incorporating an option for sub-galleries to be taken online and offline.  An interim solution is for you to arrange your sub-galleries accordingly with those of most interest or timely at the front and the others to the back.

Thanks for testing out and hanging in there with us!

I hope the "store home" button is up near the search button because the ALL CARDS link can be rather off screen such as in this father's day browse page example:

Hi all, I like that sub-gallery cards show at the top of the page, however,
when I create a new sub-gallery it replaces the last one.

What I'm asking is, how can I control what order the sub-galleries appear?
I thought it would be automatic,  for the Holidays, for instance.

Another question is, how important are the keywords anyway?
I am most successful having all my chosen cards show in the sub-gallery
when I *Do not use any keywords.*

Don't customer searches use our original keywords from when we created our cards?

Thanks ahead.

*** THIS FEATURE IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED - DO NOT USE IT ***

Sub-galleries will be removed from storefronts that are currently using them.
