"Image by" text on front of card

Hi all,

I just noticed something that has me a bit stumped. A while ago (maybe 1 year), I would have to check a box next to "Image by" so that my name would be printed on the front. Then I would choose the font color and position, etc. I no longer see the options (font color, position), nor do I see the text on the card. In the global preferences as well as on the card editor it still talks about putting the "Image by" text on the front.

I liked seeing it on the preview so that I could see if it interfered with the design or not. Does the "Image by" text still get printed on the front of the card or not. If it does, why are we not able to choose the position and color anymore.

I can't seem to see this discussed in the forum anywhere.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hi Lisa, The image by on front is no longer printed. Rather, under Manage Store> Images and Cards, see Global Preferences and Back of Card Credits. Set your image by under Global Preferences and optional in Back of Card Credits as to whether you want such printed (on back only) or to just print your store name, logo image etc. I applauded the decision to remove the text from front of card, it's one less step (3 less, picking font and color and placement) and declutters the card fronts. Artists can still sign their work for the front image and have artist credit on card back instead - way nicer for presentation and buyer's eye or frameables. Cheers, Lisa

I didn't give it a second thought until I notices the "image by" box was still there. Thanks for clarifying that it is no longer printed on the front. I like it that way as well. Have a great day.
