Prisiclla_134572 Senior Member artist Posts: 294	Sluggish Sales! Sep 17^th, 2009, 4:36am Hi crew ... is anyone eles experiencing extremely sluggish sales???? I haven't had a sale for 6 day's, now!! I usually make a sale or 2 at least every other day. It is getting to be a little discouraging & was wondering if it is happening to any one eles. Sometimes just talking about it ... will spark a sale or 2 ... we shall see ............

Yes, Priscilla,

... a bit slow here too for me. I've had 3 days thus far in Sept with no sales, and some days with just a trickle. Right now I'm on track to have sales down 20% from August. Last year Sept was down 30% from August for me, so August tends to be a good month.

I did talk to Nasser yesterday and they show about the same thing for GCU (Sept down a bit from Aug).

Lack of Holidays perhaps.

How about each of us post a link to a new card done by the person who posted ahead of us, perhaps that will bring us good luck. Here's one of Priscilla's:

Hi again. All you have to do is cut/paste the URL (web site address of the card or LARGE VIEW) into a Forum posting. I usually open up a second browser window to see someone's store and keep the forum open in the main browser window. Try it with a Doreen card!

Reply #8 - Sep 17^th, 2009, 9:34am Hi Priscilla, just go to their store, choose a new card of theirs you like, click to get the Large view, then copy the URL link at the top of that window by highlighting all of it, right click your mouse and choose COPY, then come back here and in your post window click PASTE. Should be that easy if you wish to give it a try.

By the way ... this thread did bring me luck (Thank you Thank you!); I've sold 43 cards so far today - 30 of 1 card I have never sold any of (in the BUSINESS category).

I also want to share a new card line I've started to support my nephew who is now in Marine corp boot camp (poor fellow!). I plan to add a few cards each week like this (below) and send them to him. It should be so much fun. All of our soldiers need to get mail (and to laugh!).

I knew the 'talking about it' thing would work....ha ha!
You guys don't know what pain is....a couple of days without a sale? You should try 11,12,13 days without a sale...now THAT hurts! Tongue

All kidding aside, my sales this month have been much better, I'm getting encouraged to make more cards, where for a while there I was getting fed up what with the approval times and the lack of sales.
Hope you are all going to get a visit from the magic GCU Fairy real soon! Good Luck, and here's one of Tom's best!
p.s. Tom....You didn't mean to write 'Shoot that Marine' did you? Grin
