Promoting Other Artists Through Links (Read 2251 times)

Catherine_132173 GCU Newbies artist Posts: 26	Promoting Other Artists Through Links Feb 6^th, 2009, 10:31am Greetings, Since setting up shop a few months back, I have helped in promoting other GCU Artists by adding a link to their store in my Artist's Profile. These links will usually be added to, or changed, every few months in order to give other artist's exposure as well. All the Best Wishes to All of Our Artists! Catherine

I'm just returning to GCU after a few months off. Home and family were calling....
Norva, you requested the code to use in order to link to other artist's shops. This is the code I use:

<a href="PLACE THE ARTIST'S WEBSITE ADDRESS (URL) HERE" target="_blank">NAME OF SHOP</a>

The "target="_blank" will cause a new window to pop up containing the site you're pointing to. Your site will remain in the original window so that shoppers can return to your shop without difficulty.
