Very disapponted with print quality
Feb 11th, 2008, 2:04pm

I am glad I ordered to send it to me first... it is absolutely unacceptable to me. The way it looks on the website and in reality, two different things. Very faded colors, I barely see the image. Is it the card or the printing?

Hi,

Do you know what type of printing process is used to print the cards?  Just curious...is it offset printing?

Sorry to hear of the problem!

Gosh, I wonder what went wrong Elena. I just got one of my Valentine's cards and the color and quality is just gorgeous.

I simply ordered the card using the only option to what the website gives... it looks cheap!

Hi Elena,
The quality of our cards is a priority to us and if unsatisfactory is typically a function of the image itself, not the printing process.

Please id for us the product id#(s) so we can determine what the issue is.

I've ordered copies of all my cards. The ones I have received thus far are beautiful. Very professional. I print mine glossy and all artwork is per spec.

So sorry to hear that you had some unsatisfactory printing.   I've ordered about 25 different cards of mine to check on the printing.  I've been very pleased with the printing -- especially in comparing them to Cafe Press or Zazzle.   Perhaps something just went wrong during the printing of your card.   I would order a couple of other cards to see how they turn out.

Elena-

So sorry to hear you were  disappointed with the printing quality of your card.  I've had exactly the opposite results, the card quality (matte or glossy) has always been excellent. . . better than I've seen on most offset printing!   and I do some very detailed stuff. . . I've seen details on printed cards that I actually missed on the screen!
(Olivia, I'm pretty sure GCU does digital printing. . . most PODs do.)  A lot does have to do with creating the best quality, highest resolution image possible.  And as Mindy said, you will be reimbursed if you are not satisfied.
