Tupperware Invitation ?
Dec 30th, 2007, 11:38pm

Hi, Smiley

I think to make a few cards, invitations to meetings between housewives about Tupperware products. Such meetings between women (possibly with husbands) takes place in France and I was wondering whether this was the case in North America ?

Then, if this is a wide-spread meeting in North America, I wonder how could I call this kind of invitation ? "Tupperware party" or "Tupperware meeting" ? What is the appropriate calling about this grouping ?

My last question is about the category of this invitation. The Conference/tradeshow (category) would be the appropriate place for such an invitation ?

Thanks
Ya

Yes, we have these parties in North America, too. There are also parties for jewelry, home decor, etc. I think, though, that there is a copyright issue with using "Tupperware" or the name of any other company. Perhaps a more generic invitation? With the graphics showing the intention?

Yes, lots of home sales parties here in the U.S. - knock off handbags, jewelry, clothing, bath & beauty items, kitchenwares, etc.

These invitations could go under either Business or regular Invitations.  I believe most of the time the host or hostess sends the invites on behalf of the person doing the selling so in that case I wouldn't put them under Business.

I'd suggest putting them in:
Invitations >> Party by Theme >> Other

If you have a collection justifying it's own subcategory let us know.  Perhaps a general one called Home Sales Party.  ?

Hi Mindy,

I expected your answer on this matter. In fact I intend to create invitation cards for this type of business.
I (we) don't know the expectations of the countries of North America, but I (we) could create a supply of cards invitations on the products you mentioned (handbags, jewelry, clothing, bath & beauty items, kitchenwares).
We could start by installing the cards in Invitations>> Party by Theme >> Other and if creations rise and whether there would be sales then it would be possible to create a subcategory called "Home Sales Party".

Thank you Smiley
