keyword problem
Mar 16th, 2011, 3:04pm

Hello Smiley I'm having a 'duh' moment and need some help lol. I'm trying to change my keywords in my
store front, but it only says 'preview' and not 'edit preview' in blue. So how do I change it?
Thanks, Karen.

Hi Karen,

The keywords that come up on your storefront are matched to the keywords in your cards.  You can't edit the ones in the storefront as they are automatically put there as you're library of cards grow and your keywords relating to them.

Hope that helps or at least I understand what you're asking.  lol

Best, Randy

Thanks Randy, but i'm even more confused now lol. My name is in the keywords section for some reason?
It looks a bit silly, and my name isn't in the keywords of my cards ( i don't think).
Any suggestions?
Karen

Hi Karen,

Randall is correct. You are not be able to change the key words on your store front. It's pulled from keywords, card titles, inside text, etc. If you look at other stores they too have their name in key words. Over time you will have plenty of key words in there that you will not notice your name.  Wink

You can always turn them off if you don't like it.

Good advice Sun At Night!  I have mine turned off, I find them obnoxious and somewhat useless, but that is certainly a personal preference.  I prefer to keep my Search this Store and store categories up front and that seems to work for me.  Smiley

Turning it off is great advice. But its a pity we can't be more selective in what we would like our keywords to be.
