New name: Eloquence

Hi Everyone,
Just a note to let you know that I have shortened my name "Eloquent Images" to just "Eloquence". The first one was a bit of a mouthful. I also have created a new banner and BOC. I'd love any input, as I am a complete Newbie (I haven't even sold a single card yet). I thought now was a good time to make my changes before I really get rolling.

Hi Ramelle -

I like the name change, very classy!

The BOC that I see still has the old store name, fyi.

For you banner (since you asked!) ... The blue of the store name seems to get lost in the blue of the banner .. any way to make it stand out more? To me (my 2 cents worth) Eloquence makes me think Simple but Eloquent ... and the banner is busier than that.

Yup, now is the time to change your name if you're going to do it. Once you have started the ball rolling with sales you don't want to loose that identity and following.
And I agree, you have lovely, smooth verses to go along with nice outer images. While the outside image is most often the eye catcher, it's the inner verse that can make or break the sale.

I just got around to reading Barbara S's comment and did not realize that my banner is off-center. I have no idea how that happened, but I'll fix that soon. Thanks, Barbara for pointing it out.
I created a new BOC logo and hope it's not too simplistic. The last one was way too cluttered.
TODAY I MADE MY FIRST SALE!! Whoopee! It's my St. Patrick's Day squirrel. Product ID: 774167
I sold that one by the skin of my teeth, seein how St. Patrick's Day is this week.
Isn't it funny how thrilled we get about our first sale?

Congrats on that first sale! I remember how excited I was...Happy Dance for you!

Your new logo/BOC credit is PERFECT! That is exactly what a logo should be. Clear, clean, concise and recognizable! Great job!

Back to your original post. I like the name change although I think your other name was quite good as well. The header looks great at the size it is now as the name stands out just fine from the background. Could see how it would be a problem for the BOC logo and the simpiler that is the better.
Well congrats again on your first sale! I'm out on the floor doing the "happy dance" with Doreen.
