I posted a comment about a month ago asking whether anyone had sold many Mardi Gras themed cards. Thanks for the feedback, it was really interesting to hear about how others had gone with sales  
 
I had my Mardi Gras cards approved recently and are now up on my shop front if anyone wanted to check them out or give me some feedback (always interested in hearing what people like or dislike).  
 
There are just 3 designs which were initially drawn to be published in a local Sydney magazine. The designs are meant to be just fun, light hearted Illustrations.
 
I haven't sold any yet but will wait and see how they go.
 
Hope everyone is having a successful start to 2011 with card sales... Need to get onto the Easter designs soon

Yeah I keep forgetting to allow enough time frame for card approvals - might help my card sales if I actually have cards up well before the holiday haha. Just need to manage my time better  
 
I just checked out your store - awesome St Pat's day designs, I think they're great.

BTW...aside from the approval times, your cards need to be approved and in your store A MINIMUM of 3 MONTHS before any holiday in order for search engines to find you and give you the best chance of your cards being found.

Thanks guys - I didn't realise you had to be in so early!!! wow, 3 months, i thought i was doing well if i was 3 weeks early haha.
 
Thank you very much for the tips, I have only sold 8 cards in total so maybe getting my cards up well before the holidays will lift the sale numbers a bit?? fingers crossed at least
