Problem updating vertical widget

I've just received an email telling me I must update my widget so I clicked on 'Update Vertical Widget' and all I got was the code for the horizontal widget - which obviously doesn't fit in the space where the old widget was. Sad

It also ignored the fact that I'd chosen 'featured cards' to be displayed and is now displaying Christmas cards!

I'd be grateful if someone could advise me asap as I stupidly removed my old vertical widget, assuming that the code I would get would be the right one!

Sorry - panic over!

I've solved it but I don't think it was very clearly explained on the page where you get the code.

Just in case anyone else is as befuddled as I was, you need to go to the small print where it gives you style options, such as 'flash' or 'flash only'... and there you can get your replacement code for the vertical widget.

I see the widget on the admistration page, when I go to copy html and place it on my blog, I get a text on my blog saying invalid html 3 Where else can I go to get this to work? Yikes, many days trying now.

I did and I clicked on the 'Update Vertical Widget' button and then chose one of the vertical options, can't remember which one but there was a choice so maybe you could try different ones to see what works?

Not exactly a widget for my store. Pulling my hair out, a handful at a time!
