Not wanting to be a pain but
Jan 25th, 2011, 2:31am

Hello

Is there any reason why some of our cards are at 14 days and still not approved?

I hate being a pain but it seems terribly slow.

Hugs

From reading the forum posts, I've learned many artists are waiting for Valentine's cards to be approved. There's probably a huge backlog of this category of cards. I expect the same to happen in April for Easter. A three week wait has become the norm just prior to big holidays.  Shocked  So just keep adding cards, and if possible, three to four months in advance of any holiday.

We are experiencing that the review process is taking a bit longer than usual and tends to happen around the holidays. For this reason we have updated the Wiki:

GCU reviews all submitted cards for sale to the public. This is to assure that each cards meet technical, grammar, spelling, categorization, reuse, legal, and related rules. GCU has a 100% satisfaction guarantee so it is important that all cards for sale are error-free. We have also found that shoppers do not return to shop if they encounter products with errors in them. Please do your part to create cards that are error-free.

    * After you submit a card - Once your card is submitted it is placed in a queue to be reviewed. The GCU review team is small and it can take several days and even up to 2 weeks for the card to be reviewed. Some days over 1000 cards are submitted and so the backlog can be substantial. Be patient. You will receive an email after your card is reviewed. If you have met all the design and categorization criteria, your card will be approved and immediately placed in your store. If you need to make modifications, or if your card is declined, information about this will be provided in the email to you from the review team.

Toatally understand that been here 2 years now so I get that the holidays etc, they are not valentine's specifically, so not worried about the holidays, but a few posted thanks that their cards were reviewed in 4 days, when others are 14, so was just a small enquiry. You can see how it would look really when yours are on the back burner for weeks and others are only a few days, even blank ones.

The holiday is not really an issue. just the question was buring. 86 and counting, as long as I know there is no problem with my cards, that's fine ill keep banging them up Tongue I had some reviewed today, after I asked and that is not really what I wanted, I don't want to que jump as it were.

I have just sent an email to the card review team to ask about my cards, a couple of which have been waiting over two weeks...my email got returned with some error about the mailbox being full "mail quota exceeded" I think it said?
Now what do I do? Sad
