I myself do a lot of cards with photography. I do flowers, and bugs, and such. I have never put flower like/flower look or bug like/bug look in my keywords and I have never had a problem with a reviewer. Surely, people are not stupid enough to think they are getting a real rose on a card or a bug on a card.  Roll Eyes I think this could get a little out of hand here. I have alway put things like: Red Rose, Rose, Flower, Red Flower, Flowers, Red Flowers or Bug, Bugs, Insect, Insects, Spider, Spiders or anything that pertains to what my card is about. I have never had this problem and can see where Selina is coming from on this. Maybe GCU needs to put on the front page of the site that we do not do scrapbook-like cards, that our cards are images on paper only. This would make things clearer for people who should know better.  Tongue

Selina,  I'd go back to your submissions and eliminate the 'baloon like', 'bubble like' and whatever else.  There is no issue with you saying bubbles, baloons, flowers etc.   The only issue is when you have something in a textrue or card paper effect that looks like say linen or embroided fabric.  If you've created a card that looks like linen or even say you created it on linen then scanned and saved that to download to GCU, then that card no longer is linen or embroided fabric.  That is the only issue where a customer may be confused as it wouldn't be impossible for a company to produce cards with linen covers or embroided fabric.  Basically if your description could be interpreted to describe the material that a card is made out of, then you would want to clarify that isn't so by stating embroided look, linen like, leather looking or whatever.
As you describe these three new cards with the baloon looking bubbles with letters inside, then keywords to use would be, baloon, baloons, bubble, bubbles, letter, letters and so on.

So basically, we should just be concerned with "Texture" style Words. That definately narrows this down.

WinkWell reading all of this , It is so  true how people do take these words to be literally attached to their card, I have done cards with a Neelepoint-lookand feel,, and Stained Glass look.. I made sure it stated "Stained glass look". They might feel they are getting a stained Glass Card??? or needle point??? lol sorry, and... Winkhow about balloons?? do they think they are getting balloons too?.. This could definately get to be a a very proverbial challenge as, the category "ballons" not Balloon-like".. will all the categories change to *****-like?

All within reason...if it looks like the real thing that could logically be found on a handmade card then it is worth noting.    Ha, ha...no plans to make a Balloon-like category Wink

I know it seems ridiculous, but people that go to GCU don't always understand that it is an IMAGE, not a hand crafted card, even though it is clear to the rest of us.  It will save alot of trouble and issues in future, and I appreciate GCU's position.  I am one who had an order for an "embossed" cards and I was notified of the issue and was able to go back and add the extra explaination to my cards.  GCU had to deal with the disgruntled customer, not me, and I was really impressed with their attitude with me.  They also bore the financial losss from refunding the cards as per their satisfaction guarantee.  Remember, their goal is to help YOU sell more cards too!
