New Site Design & Other Changes - REPOST

Reposting....

Today is the day, drumroll please..., that we introduce GCU's new site design. Over time you'll see other pieces of the site change and updated deliverables ie: new logo on email heades and back of cards. Note our new tagline..."any card imaginable".

We have introduced a $3 per card price group for 1- 4 cards (earning artists up to 60 cents per card). The $2.79 price per card now starts at 5 cards.

Additionally in response to your feedback on the card review process lead by Tom Rent you will find a new category selector tool (easy to use menu and category search field).

Please post here what you think of these new changes as well as report any issues you may see that need our attention. We've gone over things with a fine tooth comb but it's never enough.

We hope these changes make life at GCU more enjoyable, productive and profitable!

the new price and earnings are effect today 4:00pm

we have correct the category list to display year specific subcats in numerical order.

I tried out the new category selection tool and it is a great improvement over what we had in the past. It will make finding the right category much easier. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in store.

I for one, think the newly redesigned category selection tool will make choosing a category and any subcategories that may apply to a card so much easier and faster for our artists. As Mindy mentioned, we reviewers got to try it out for a few days and I found it a to be a dream to use! It is a huge improvement over the former category selection list. It should be a real help to new artists who before didn't know that after choosing a main category they then needed to scroll down to find a fitting subcategory to add to their card. This new tool points the way to help with that.

Hope everyone finds it a big help in their card creation process!

I have been looking around and found one small thing that needs attention. Cheesy

From Home page>Become an Artist (RHS mid point on Home Page)
I love the new look to the page with featured designs from cards and some familiar faces in there Wink

.....and the set-up video by Felix

Here's the update needed that I see. Under 'Create your own card store it says " Earn up to .56c per card......I believe that should now be .60c
Off to create a card now and try the new category tool and look Grin

I just created some cards and it is SO much easier the way the categories are set up. It's much easier to use when creating a card. I guess I haven't taken a look at the whole site. Really nice changes (except for my photo). Maybe I should change my mug shot to an image instead.
