Wow!  Love the new color scheme and welcoming design!  I've been on a trip to hug my first great grandson and was a nice surprise to see all the neat changes.  Tag line is perfect. Uploaded some new cards this morning and the new category selection tool is great!  It's very smooth, easy to use and so much faster.  No excuse now for missing a subcategory.

Thanks for all your extra efforts and the raise!

I think it's all great. Better price changes, easier category selection, better colors that are easier on the eyes.
Yes, Yes!

Hi Mindy or Sean

When creating a card the "change image" button is no longer there...I'm sure it used to be. It's only there now when you go in and "edit".

I like the new uploading tool.. very much..  but.. so far..  my very favorite  thing is how the "Featured Artist" box changes with each refreshed page.  Yeah!  That is so much more interesting for the viewer (and me too) than the same thing being seen for such long lengths of time..  Gives all yet another reason to land there more often..  WTG GCU!!! Love that change!  Great idea for the Home page-All cards too..  More movement and visual enticement - less the same to long.  Wouldn't mind seeing that in more common places across the board..  Changing visuals keep peoples attention and generate ideas for them. .  It would be great too if the "Recently Sold" section had arrows on each side of it to stop or reverse the slide show and move with more control.   Sometimes... my mouse touches a "Sold" image and it sticks to it till I refresh the page again..   Grin

I hope I get a new fave thing in the near future too. Maybe I will wake up.. and the text box will be movable when preparing the inside verse..  Now.. that would be a fave indeed~   Cool

I have been looking around and found one small thing that needs attention. Cheesy

From Home page>Become an Artist (RHS mid point on Home Page)
I love the new look to the page with featured designs from cards and some familiar faces in there Wink.....and the set-up video by Felix Smiley

Here's the update needed that I see. Under 'Create your own card store it says " Earn up to .56c per card......I believe that should now be .60c
Off to create a card now and try the new category tool and look Grin
Pamela

Yes, good catch, on our clean up list to change 56's to 60's Smiley

Kudos, GCU team!  I made a couple cards and found the category selection screen to be a real boon - so much easier and much better when trying to figure out what category to use.  Thank you so much - lovely New Year's gift to us.

A few items to note on the new design....

We were fortunate to be able to work with the graphic design geniuses that are behind the clean, lifestyle inspired looks of PotteryBarn, Red Envelope and W Hotels websites, just to name a few.  With much trust in their abilities we pretty much left them alone in choosing colors and styles as well as which artists and cards to feature.

The logo did originally have more of a square envelope shape too it but it was too tall for the site header so we elongated it, still looking somewhat like an envelope.

Looking into this although it sounds odd.  Is there a need to change the image when you are creating a new card?

And quite lovely and fresh-looking it all is - grand job! I wish, wish, wish, however, that there were just slightly more space between "to" and "you" (under "Happy Birthday") and that either all three of the "3" had final periods or did not, as long as they all followed the same pattern.

Also, I think it would be good to have spacing between each of the links under Thank You Cards, Languages, and Collections by Interest, the way there is in the other categories mentioned on the home page, rather than having the spaces underlined - and, perhaps a few more languages could be added to that listing (at least whatever there is room for in those two lines).

Please forgive my bringing up these small points; the site looks so nice! (I especially like the drop-down menus at the top.) Thanks for all your hard work, your constant striving to move forward, your consideration of everybody's two cents, and awarding us those four, by the way!

Happy New Year!

Edited to add:
Hmmm, now there are alternating banners on the home page where it was not moving earlier, and the birthday message seems to have somewhat better spacing, perhaps due to the different color. A most pleasing effect, those rotating greetings.

Greetings!

I just wanted to say that the updates look really spiffy!

I did notice one thing that should be updated:  In the FAQ section for artists, there is Question & Answer 24 which actually deals with profiling, which we haven't done in a couple of years.  And since we're not doing that anymore (hooray!) it could be confusing to new artists.

Thanks!
Penny Smiley

Yes, ... when we upload a common set  (let's say age or relationship), it is routine to accidently "pick" the wrong image (since they are rather tiny) from the set on the upload page and we don't notice this until we have started editing the keywords, verse, and category.  Rather than finish it and then do a Change Image, it is easier to do the image change right there before te card is submitted.

Thanks

Nice catch Joan.  This one slipped by us.   Smiley

This should be corrected soon.
