e-card commission codes?
Dec 21st, 2010, 4:55am

If I create an e-card with one of my images and send it to friends. Will it contain my commission code so that commission is paid to me if any of those become new buyers?

Did that make sense?

The only ecards of ours are FlipEcards on Facebook, and yours are there, Marion.  If these are sold as FlipEcards you make 30 cents USD per card, even if your enemies buy them.  Smiley

Hi Tom,
Maybe I should have said seller commission when you create an e-card on GCU from a recently uploaded file.

The only eCards outside of GCU's Facebook FlipEcards are the Free eCards accessible in the page header above.  These are not artists' cards.  They are used to just draw traffic to the site.

You could use the photo-upload at that link but the ecard would still be free and have no seller commission code in it.

thanks Tom. I know the e-cards from one's own images are free, but I just wondered if there was some coding behind it so that when someone received it and they clicked through to GCU and ended up buying a paper card, if that would gain a seller commission.

It took a while, but now you've stated your full question!

This feature is not supported today but it is clever idea.
