Can birthday card be with a rose?
Dec 2nd, 2010, 5:51pm

I got my card approved but with changed category. Here is the card:

http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/-Rose+Happy+Birthday+photo+blank+note+card-g reeting+card-721018?pid=721018&aid=146483&ref=cb_card_title

It has Happy Birthday writing on it. But I got it with a note:

Removed - Birthday - General as this card does not address a birthday. Removed ;birthday' from card title and keywords. Also added card to another fitting category.
Here is categories it was put in:
Collections » Flowers & Garden
Collections » Any Occasion / Blank Note Cards » Flowers & Garden

I checked if birthday cards in general can have flowers in America (I am originally from Russia and may have perverse understanding of things), but here you are, rose with birthday wishes in Birthday category:
http://artist.greetingcarduniverse.com/-Birthday+Wishes,+single+red+rose-greetin g+card-714889?pid=714889&cid=2264&ref=cb_card_title

Please, help me to understand the problem.
Thank you
Yulia

Hummmmmmmmm.     Huh  Roll Eyes  Wink

I think this one must be an error on their part.  Try writing them back on the same e-m reply and ask for some further clarification..   I am pretty sure a floral card that says Happy Birthday right on it should definitely be in the Birthday Isle..      It is kinda funny really..  Frustrating I am sure.. Been there too.  but.. they will adjust for you indeed~

Whew... Lj, I thought, I am totally out there. Thanks for support.
The funny things is that my boyfriend (American) said that flowers only good for sympathy and he would never send a flower for a birthday. That's why I was very confused.  Shocked
I will write them.

I see..  Well...  I think if you wish to use a Volcano erupting while an Earthquake is happening during a Snowstorm for a B-Day idea would be a cool and uncommon thing.  A world of no rules.. Smiley  Good luck.. Be patient.. Be beyond patient too.. Smiley

The reviewer must have been having a bad day.

Many of the birthday cards I've sold, all in USA, have flowers on them.

Isn`t there a "Flowers" sub category in the "Birthday" Category?
Here in UK flowers are a very popular birthday gift or card image!
