Card Order Issues
Sep 16th, 2010, 3:08pm

I just received my order of 33 cards and was disappointed in the color and the card fold on several of the cards.  Some of the folds are over 1/8th inch off, and I have the same cards from previous order for two of the images and the color is very different.  Overall, the whole order seems to be more washed out than the previous order, but not bad enough to replace.  I don't have enough time before my show anyway.  But I wanted to let you know there was an issue-

ID 594383 is a painted look picture of my chihuahua and in the last order, his happy smile had a vibrant pink tongue, black hair.  In the new shipment, his tongue is peachy and the black is washed out... definitely not as adorable.  Not sure if I want to try to sell them.
ID# 594413 is definitely different, the color on last order showed the purple tinge to the sky, this order looks a blander peach.
I ordered two of Item ID5948383  and one has light specks in the black area.

Even the printing on the back of the cards (all of them) is pale.

One the plus side, product ID 59460 is exquisite and I wish I had ordered alot of them!  The other cards in the order are really nice.  Even if the fold isn't perfect.
I also really appreciate you having such great specials, especially the free shipping, that helps ALOT!!!

Just wanted to let you know,

Trish, Bow N Ranch

I certainly wont be ordering any more cards while I'm reading such complaints as this. I just hope that our customers are not as dissatisfied.

Reading this more than once here as of recent.  Makes me worry for the cards bought and sent.   I do hope if a customer gets any like that, they call and get replaced here if they have the time and energy to do so vs: not buying from here again.   So sorry that happened to you.  I also hope it is not all the cards ordered..

TRISH
There is a threads on this in support
There was a problem with cards printed on the 9 and 10th of sept. and maybe on the 13th.

There was a problem with normal printer device and printer had to use a backup printer which was not color calibrated correctly and on 9/10 had folding issues, bad cuts and the white flecks on bends.
I mailed back the cards and they were deemed unacceptable to GCU and printer

I had similar problem and contacted Shaun and GCU will replace the bad cards.
I got another order printed on 9/14 and they were back to perfect.
Contact Shaun to get your cards replaced

Surely someone in the packaging department should have picked up that something was wrong. In future, if they have problems with their normal printer I hope they will cease operation until it is fixed. I find this excuse most unacceptable.

There sure has been a lot of complaining about this issue for it not to have been fixed already. What' going on with that? If things are as bad as I have been seeing on here... our sales are going to stop if it's not fixed soon, and that could be really bad for those who are depending on Christmas sales. I mean, who wants a Santa with a pink or purple hat? That's an awful thought!

It seems everything is so tediously reviewed ( and I am thankful for this  Wink ) until it comes right down to the finished product  ShockedShockedShocked.... embarrassed embarrassed embarrassed  too bad there isn't a final inspection of each printed card that's mailed to customers!  It would be so nice to know ( since we can not check each card ourselves ) that our customers are receiving nice quality printed cards!
Enough time and effort goes into these cards from both artists and reviewers before they are ever even printed!  Then to think customers are receiving them with washed out colors and messed up folds is just SAD!  It sure seems like I am reading that same complaint a lot lately!
