I have a question regarding the free shipping promo currently running after receiving this email today:
 
Your Cards
Total Quantity:      1
Total Price:      $2.79        
 
All Items
Total Order Quantity:      1        
Total Order Price:      $2.79        
Price per Card Paid:      $2.79        
 
Artist Commissions:      $0.56       (20% - $0.56 per card)
Seller Commissions:      $0.00        
Total Commissions:      $0.56        
 
Discounts Applied:
Free Shipping within the U.S. for 15 Cards or more
 
I'm wondering if this is correct, that the customer only purchased one card, but received the free shipping, or if there is some error in the email.
 
Just thought I'd mention this, as I'm guessing that the free shipping with 15 card purchased is a little easier to absorb than if the customer is only buying one, or, actually less than the 15.

Thanks for your reply.  I could be wrong about this, but, I don't believe that the shipping costs have any bearing on the commission to the artist, only the actual price paid for the card, meaning, that, yes, a lower selling price does decrease the commission, percentage-wise.
