I wonder if you could make it easier
Jun 13th, 2010, 8:16pm

Dear Support Team Smiley
In the artist's management cards we have a list of the cards we have in each category.

I have been working on the different categories readjusting titles and checking on mistakes, etc, but it is very tiresome and time consuming initiating the process all along for every card, because the "default' goes back to the first page of our submitted cards instead of going back to the category I am working on.

Let say, I am working on birthdays, once I finish working with a determined card it goes automatically to the first general page instead of going back to the birthdays category.

Could you program it to go back to the category we are working on?

That would help all artists a lot. It would facilitate the management of our shops and it would allocate more free time to creation.

Thank you so much for all your help,
Leonilde

I completely agree Leonilde.  I know that its already on the list because I and many others have mentioned this before.  It is very frustrating and extremely time consuming.  You have my vote!

I must agree with Leonilde. I have also been doing some housekeeping and also found it rather tedious to always be dropped back on the first page, particularly when I hadn't actually finished with the card I was adjusting. I found the card again using the product ID but that is still an extra unnecessary page load. If this were fixed, I'm sure that many more artists would curate their stores more stringently, resulting in higher quality cards across the board.  Smiley

Until it does get adjusted with a friendlier user experience..  I now right clk the image to be worked on & choose "open in a new window" and although still not the best choice it does save up a little time from all the defaulting back to page 1 stuff..   Smiley

Here's the thread where I asked the same question.  Some good ideas in this thread that make it easier.  http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/forum/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1273582972

Hope that helps.

Thanks for providing the link, Kati. Yes, "rinse and repeat" does work as long as you don't want/need to see the updated versions of your cards immediately. I do need to see the "refreshed" version of each card in order to (1) check that the edits are actually visible and (2) to copy the updates into my own database. I'm glad to see that it is on the wish list. May it please rise higher up that list!  Smiley
