We have created a new field that should help speed up the review process by improving the communications between artists and the review team. It's called Note to Reviewer.
This will allow you to leave a note to the review team when you submit a new card. It can only be created at that time. Once the card is submitted this field cannot be edited. For communications about that card after you've submitted it you should continue to reply to the card review email itself or send an email to cardreview@greetingcarduniverse.com
You will see this new field when you create a card. It is located below the Artist's Comments field. It is optional EXCEPT for FastTrack requests. When checking FastTrack you'll need to enter a Note to Reviewer as to why you've requested FastTrack. This will help the review team take the best action when knowing it's for a custom card request, your personal use, wanted cards request on the forum, etc.
Other examples of Notes to Reviewers you may leave to facilitate your review:
1) image source - confirming that you have the rights or model release or proper license and URL
2) vintage works - identifying how you've modified vintage elements to create a new composition
3) margin areas - noting that by design some elements of your card are close to the edge(s)/in the 1/4 inch margin area
4) your call for help on finding a better suited category if needed
5) clarify an intentional typo or play on words or acceptable variation on spelling
6) explain the use of seemingly unrelated keywords
7) reference a previously approved similar image card by pid#
8) ask for review of design that you intend to use as the basis for a large collection (concept review)
Please let us know if you have any questions about this new feature. Thank you
and let us know how you think it is working.
