It seemed as if Spring had really arrived here in Wales a couple of weeks ago when I posted these photos on my blog:

A couple of weeks of sunshine and at times it actually felt quite HOT!

But this week we've had heavy rain, wind and, today, SNOW! It was too wet to settle down here but the mountains were white and up in Ebbw Vale, not far away, blizzards raged overnight!

BTW, I've just posted the results on my blog of a questionnaire I sent out about UK greeting card buying habits. The most significant finding, I think, is that only 1 person out of 78 said that they bought greeting cards online, in spite of that being the first option for them to choose, which presumably explains why all my sales so far have been to US customers.

Chiming in with the weather from GCU HQ - San Ramon, California (45 mins east of SF).  Leaving high temps in the high 70's last week for cold days in the high 40's and mid 50's with rain, rain, rain and even hail storms.  However the benefits are spectacular green rolling hills vs the soon to come brown hills of golden California that my kids say look like lazy bottoms.

Flip flops prematurely removed from the closet but their day will come, soon!

Hi Judy,
Interesting info.  One comment as we've read and done many greeting card buyer behavior surveys.  Often people assume when you say "online" that you mean e-cards vs purchasing a paper card via the internet.  So you may find that your 1 out of 78 is not representative.

In any case it is a notion that has to be overcome and why you see GCU using "real paper greeting cards" in our messaging.
