Denise,
Feel free to promote my cards.  I am grateful for the additional exposure.
It does make it more difficult to promote others, if some will not be happy with the promotion.  I hope this will not be a problem for the few I have selected.
Good luck to you in your endeavors.
Kathy

Hi Denise,

I think it is a great service to the Artists to add their cards to your blog.  If you like any of mine, please feel free to add them to your blog.    Rosie Cards

Okay...here's my 1 cent worth......

I have put some popular cards from GCU on my blog in the last few days and like Denise says, it's pretty tough trying to keep straight who wants exposure and who doesn't. It would be a lot easier if the $ sign were not under the cards so as to tell which artists have opted out.

If anyone sees a card on my blog that you do NOT want there, please tell me.

I, too feel that promoting the GCU site is a wonderful way to get the word out about GCU and the wonderful and talented artists who are here. On the other hand, I also understand why someone would feel violated for having their artwork showcased in an unknown place, especially one that is questionable.

Thank you for allowing me to promote your cards,
elizabeth

Elizabeth I agree it would make it a lot easier and clearer for all if the dollar sign were there clearly showing the OK, or not, according to the artists choice.

And Denise I don't think others would think there was anything other than good intentions on your part or anyone elses, I think they are upset with the way GCU has set it up right now. Hopefully GCU will straighten it out soon.
It was quite an exciting day here!

And if anyone is still interested you are welcome to promote my cards if you wish to (I know you all are beating down the door to get some..Ha Ha! )Cheesy Roll Eyes Wink

i see there are some artists who do not like the sell this card feature and i have added 1 maybe more of their cards.  i will go through the cards and remove them, but this will make me more selective in my card choices so as not to offend anyone.  oh well a bump in the road.  as i read the other day.  it's all a matter of perspective... Hi Denise!  Smiley
I had a lot of fun feeding your fish. It is really cool.
Feel free to expose Artcor7 creations in your blog. The more exposition the better and if we both benefit from its selling, it  is  a welcoming  win+ win situation.
Thanks,
Leonilde

Denise,

If you want a list, I would love to be added to it as willing. My marketing is atrocious and this is one way that I am able to do it (because I'm not actually doing it). I do have one naughty card that would be absolutely hilarious to see on an 'adult' site and clearly inappropriate there!

It is, actually, one of my most popular cards.

Hey, Denise,

I know that you worked really hard setting up the display on your blog, which looks really nice.  Smiley  I do appreciate that you included one of my Easter cards.

Here's a thought, a bit time-consuming, but maybe worth it in the long run:  What do you (or any artist interested in promoting other artist's cards) think about sending the other artist an email and asking them for their okay to post their card(s)?  That way, the card designing artist can look at the blog or website, and say yes or no.  At least this way you've covered your buns, and the artist can be assured that you're not not a blog or website that would violate their personal beliefs.  Just a thought, if there is no opt out for artist, and he/she would would rather not have others posting their work.

Like I said, just a thought.

Good luck!

to everybody who has said add my cards thank you .. i will make a list.

Leonilde- thanks for feeding the fish.. Cheesy

Candy.. thanks for offering a great selling card... i try not to have any that might be considered adult...cute as it is.. eggs are always cute they can't help it.  maybe someone else will pick it up for you. but i will look through your others.

Penny thank you, i may be too lazy to email everybody haha   actually part of the fun of this was being able to glance through and just by what caught my eye, add it, but now i have to check each store owner first.   as i said i am doing this as best i can now and will start with those i have here who have said go ahead.  if i run across some new ones that are just too stunning to pass up i will try to reach the store owner... but i hate waiting for someone to get back to me before i can go ahead with a project... just a pet peeve of mine.  i have some thinking to do..... thanks for any and all suggestions! Hi Denise,
As I'm lousy with marketing and all those issues and hardly have time, I just love the fact that you're doing it. Please feel free to add my cards!
Cheers,
barbara

The 'problem' with the Internet is that it's open to everyone. And although I understand that people want control over their cards/images/drawings, it's an illusion to think that you can protect them.
Now at the same time - from a sellers point of view - the advantage of the Internet is that it's open to everyone Smiley
The more exposure my cards get, the better. I think your blog rocks, Denise, and would be honoured to have my cards featured there!
Thanks for all your hard work, I know how timeconsuming it is!

I appreciate the exposure and the opportunity to make more $ - so anybody feel free to add my cards!

On the other hand, I respect if other artists object to that - so I would appreciate if GCU had more options to select from.

But I'm a little surprised that there seem to be many artists who get upset all of a sudden, after they obviously haven't checked out everything, so far...
