This link (like Moonie's) gives you the slider so you can see the whole card:   http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/shopping/zoom.asp?pid=46680&w=1&ref= details_large_view

whereas this link (like Tom's and the rest) gives you the card details page where when the "large image" is clicked on you don't get a slider in the pop-up so one can't see all of a vertical card or the inside copy on a horizontal card:  http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/-Storyland+Queen+Childs+Birthday-greeting+ca rd-46680?pid=46680&page=1&aid=131365&ref=cb_card_title

WHY IS THAT?  Could we get a "slider" on the card details page pop-up so customers could consistently see the whole card?  Since evidently it CAN be done.

Oh, back to the topic at hand:  I used this card as an example of one of my "oldies" that's has gazillions of clicks, favorited and commented on . . .  but no sales.  Maybe it needs re-categorization? . . . anyone??

Ernestine...I love that little Queen card for the girl's birthday, I don't know why it hasn't sold, except that I think more of an inside verse might help, and/or Happy Birthday on the front. I was thinking maybe even something short, like...
"Happy Birthday Princess!.....
er, sorry....YOUR MAJESTY"      or something like that?  The artwork is gorgeous, and it should've sold lots I would think.
Also...on another note, I looked at your card to the side with the boats, skiffs at the dock, and when I looked at the large view, I couldn't get the inside of card to open? All the others did, so not sure if it's a glitch? Just thought I'd let you know.
Plus, not sure what you mean about the card not being completely visible, it is to me? With the slider or without...unless I'm missing something? Huh

e - I'm not sure why the popup varies in size because the link URL is the same.  I suspect it has to do with the HTML on the page the link is located on, meaning the pop-up size generated off of a link on a card detail page is different than the pop-up size generated from a link on a forum page.  A good puzzle for Shaun to figure out.

As for your amazing card, I had the same thoughts as Avis; a really great image but it lacks a matching message.  The thoughts that came to my mind were along the line of:

- A Princess grows up to be Queen one day at a time.   Happy Birthday!
- My Princess will one day be Queen!  You get more beautiful each year!  Happy Birthday!
- Today you get to be Queen of your Kingdom of Dreams.  Happy Birthday!

Putting it together Comically:
From baby, to princess, to queen.
Your life for today is a dream.
Enjoy laughter and play,
for it lasts but a day,
then it's back to the normal routine.

Happy Birthday!

That's a beautiful card Pam! Smiley
Nice verse inside too, not surprised it sold, you did "a lot right"

Hope your weather's settled down now, I'm coming your way Tuesday, and it's supposed to be nice here, and I think in N.Y. too.
We've also had some wicked winds, and rain lashing down. Not as bad as you guys I don't think.  Shocked

Tom - Avis,

Thanks for the suggestions for copy on my "Queenie" card.  I'm sure there is something I can do to get it purchased and not just noticed.

The pop-up situation doesn't happen on my Mac (I can always see all of the large view) but on the laptop PC, maybe the screen is just too small, but why don't I get a scroll bar?  Anyone else have this situation?
