how to set up sell this card if you have blogger

i will try to tell you how i did it.. you will probably find a different way.
open both blogger to your blog,ready to add a new post - the html tab, and open GCU to the homepage.
have them side by side if your monitor will allow or half and half, how ever it works best for you to move between pages.

write your introductory statement about the cards and introducing GCU to your readers
if they don't know anything about it here.

decide how many cards you want in a row.. i put 6 vertical or 4 horizontal

look on GCU and pick a card, use the dollar sign to bring up the links...use the image link not the
text link and copy that... all of it.

paste it onto your blogger page, repeat this for each card you add. a little trick i learned late in the night was to choose all of the same direction either vertical or horizontal until i got the 6 or 4 in a row i wanted...not mix and match. that wastes time. we have widescreen monitors so i am not sure if yours is not how many cards it will seem to display in a row.

click on to the compose tab and drag and drop the cards in the order you want.. click enter on your keyboard at the end of the row to go to the next row. go back to the html tab and pick another row. check your line up at the end of each row and make sure you are spacing the rows apart evenly.

publish your blog and share it with us so we can tell you all the wonderful things i got to hear today about mine. Wink

Hi Denise, I checked out your site on Blogger. Very nice job, Very professional.
Thank you so much for sharing all the wonderful information.

Instead of adding card by card...*I added ten codes at once, by copy and pasting them into an email, leaving 2 spaces between each code. Then, I pasted the codes in the >To What URL should this link go, box. (First it will come up text, but when you publish it will come up thumbnails.)

Janet i incorporated a little of your method to mine... i opened a word document and copied and pasted several rows worth into each post then arranged them. somewhat faster than what i was doing.

i have been trying to figure out how to expand how many posts it shows in succession because the birthday cards are already being pushed to an older post. but no matter how i set it up it doesn't show the birthdays on the home page too. i have tried 30 days on homepage, 30 posts on homepage and it still breaks them up... rats

I`m glad that helped Denise...Gee, advertising can be just as time consuming as creating and getting our cards out there. I know those blogs can get buried pretty fast, I`m saving the codes I copied and pasted in my yahoo folders, and when I get bogged down a bit but still want to refresh, Ill just use one of those..I figure it will be new to the next viewer..

I`m still trying to figure these Blog Thingies out. Shocked

Thanks Denise for this post, I haven't as yet tried this new feature, but tried it this morning....it doesn't look too bad, probably will tweak it a bit and add more. I've never used the 'compose' feature before, I was having trouble getting them to line up nicely, they were jumping all over the place! I'm sure there's an easier way? Tried hitting enter after each line but it didn't seem to work for me! Sad

Thanks GCU for this new ability to spread the word on the talent on GCU and to make money at the same time!
